According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, over the past day, Ukrainian Defence Forces repelled several attacks the areas of Makiivka, Nevs’ke and Bilohorivka (Luhansk oblast); Verkhn’okam’yans’ke, Spirne, Bakhmut, Mayorsk, Pervomais’ke, Novomykhailivka, Vodyane, Pavlivka, and Prechistivka (Donetsk oblast).
The threat of missile and air strikes, as well as “Shahed-136” drone attacks from the territory of the republic of belarus remains high.
As of November 02, 2022, since the beginning of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, 430 children have died and more than 825 children have been injured. Due to the active hostilities in affected regions, there is no possibility to inspect the areas of shelling and destruction.
In Ukraine, 9 civilians were killed in the past day on November 01, and 19 more were injured. This was announced by the deputy head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Kyrylo Tymoshenko based on the data of the regional military administrations.
The Russian occupation troops actions:
Over the past 24 hours, the russian invaders launched 3x missile and 24x air strikes, and conducted more than 80x MLRS attacks.
Areas of more than 20 settlements were affected by attacks of the russian occupiers. Among them are Kup’yans’k (Kharkiv oblast); Kremenchuk (Poltava oblast); Nevs’ke (Luhansk oblast); Vodyane, Vuhledar, Krasnohorivka and Nevels’ke (Donetsk oblast); Smila (Cherkasy oblast); Nova Kam’yanka (Kherson oblast); and Ternovy Pody (Mykolaiv oblast).
Russian occupation forces continue forced “evacuation” of civilian population on the temporarily occupied territories of Zaporizhzhia and Kherson oblasts of Ukraine. Residents of settlements along the left bank of the Dnipro River from the settlement of Velika Znamyanka (Zaporizhia oblast) to Nova Kakhovka (Kherson oblast) are priority “targets” for the forced “evacuation”.
The occupiers continue to steal ambulances and medical equipment from the hospitals in Hola Prystan’ (Kherson oblast). Reportedly, stolen equipment and vehicles are being transferred to Skadovsk (Kherson oblast).
In the temporarily occupied territory of Luhansk oblast, russian occupation forces continue to use civilian population as a “human shield”. Thus, according to available information, in the city of Svatove, the occupiers continue to place their units in schools and local enterprises. Meanwhile, local residents are forced to keep working and bringing children to classes, despite shelling.
The Ukrainian army actions:
According to the updated and verified information, over the recent days, Ukrainian Defence Forces have neutralized up to 60x russian occupiers in the village of Pershotravneve (Mykolaiv oblast); up to 50x invaders were wounded in the village of Vasylivka (Zaporizhia oblast).
During the day of November 02, 2022, Ukrainian Air Force launched 21x air strikes against concentrations of enemy weapons and military equipment, and air defence assets. Ukrainian air defence units shot down 10x Iranian-made “Shahed-136” attack drones and “Orlan” UAVs.
Ukrainian missile and artillery troops engaged 5x concentrations of enemy troops, weapons and military equipment, 2x ammunition depots, and 3x other critical legitimate military targets.
