According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, over the past day, Ukrainian Defence Forces repelled attacks in the vicinities of Verkhn’okam’yans’ke, Bakhmut, Andriivka, Yakovlivka, Soledar, Kurdyumivka, Krasnohorivka settlements (Donetsk oblast).
The enemy keeps shelling settlements and positions of Ukrainian troops along the contact line, and conducts aerial reconnaissance. Russia launches further attacks against critical infrastructure and civilian residences, thus violating the rules of International Humanitarian Law, and the laws and principles of war.
As of the morning of December 6, 2022, more than 1,296 children were affected in Ukraine as a result of the full-scale armed aggression of the Russian Federation. According to official information from juvenile prosecutors, 443 children died and more than 853 were injured of varying severity.
The Russian occupation troops actions:
Over the past day, Russia launched a massive missile attack on critical and civilian infrastructure of Ukraine. Residential buildings and objects of critical infrastructure in Vinnytsia, Kyiv, Mykolaiv, Odesa and other oblasts were targeted by the enemy. The recent attack included 70x missiles of various types, including Kh-101, Kh-555, Kh-22, Kh-59, Kh-31P, and Kaliber.
In total, more than 60x enemy missiles were successfully intercepted by Ukrainian air defence units.
Further threat of missile strikes on national energy grid and critical infrastructure across Ukraine remains high.
Over the past day, the enemy carried out 17x airstrikes and launched 38x MLRS attacks.
The Ukrainian army actions:
During the past day, Ukrainian Air Force conducted 15x air strikes on the concentrations of russian troops, weapons and military equipment, and 5x air strikes against enemy anti-aircraft missile systems.
Ukrainian missile and artillery troops engaged 2x command posts, 8x concentrations of enemy troops, and 1x other critical military target.
