War Chronicles (09.11.2022)

According to the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian Defence Forces repelled enemy attacks in the vicinities of Novoselivs’ke and Makiivka (Luhansk oblast); Soledar, Klishchiivka, Mayors’k, Yakovlivka, Andriivka, Bilohorivka, Vesele, Nevels’ke, Pervomais’ke, and Novomykhailivka (Donetsk oblast).

The enemy keeps shelling Ukrainian positions all along the line of contact, reinforces defensive lines and positions on certain directions, and conducts aerial reconnaissance. The occupant forces attack civilian infrastructure and residences, thus violate the rules of International Humanitarian Law, and the laws and principles of war. 

During the last 24 hours, the russian invaders launched 11x missile and 22x air strikes, and conducted more than 35x MLRS attacks on civilian and military targets across Ukraine. More than 30x settlements in Donetsk, Luhansk, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhya, Mykolaiv, Sumy, and Kherson oblasts suffered enemy attacks.

The Russian occupation troops actions:

According to the available information, the law enforcement authorities in the russian city of Tolyatti (Samara oblast) were requested to recruit 1,000x “volunteers” for the deployment to the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine. At the same time, the city’s chemical enterprises are working on additional fundraising to support regional “volunteers” units. It arouses tensions between employees who have been already facing salary cuts allegedly to support mobilized workers participating in the war in Ukraine. 

Following the verified reporting, the so-called evacuation of the civilian population from the city of Kherson has been halted due to the lack of interest and those willing to be evacuated. Russian occupation authorities have suspended payment of salaries and other social benefits.  

The russian occupiers transferred local civilian hospital in the city of Dzankoi (temporarily occupied Autonomous Republic of Crimea) to a military hospital. It provides care to up 800x wounded occupiers nowadays. 

The Ukrainian army actions:

Ukrainian Air Force launched 6x air strikes during the last 24 hours. 2x concentrations of enemy troops, weapons and military equipment, and 4x air defence positions were hit. Over the past day, the air defence troops shot down 5x “Shakhed-136” loitering munition drones and 3x “Orlan-10” UAVs on different directions.

Moreover, Ukrainian missile and artillery troops attacked 1x command post, 1x concentration of russian troops, weapons and military equipment, 1x ammunition depot and other important military objects.
